Sight Buddy is an assistant you can talk to about whatever is in front of you. Ask it a question, ask it to describe the scene, to read a letter out loud, to summarise a page of text, or to find a particular object.
It runs on your phone. Sight Buddy answers with no account and no internet connection, and nothing leaves your phone.
When you install the app it works with the local models you download, and in some cases with your phone's own speech recognition.
If you would rather use your own OpenAI API key, you can add it in Advanced settings. The key slot is always empty when you install the app, and the app never sends anything to OpenAI unless you add a key yourself.
